Grow Yourself & Your Relationships
I teach people how to deeply connect with themselves, their partners, and their families, so they can live more meaningful lives.
Anxiety, depression, and relational ambivalence, are all symptoms of something within us seeking to be known. Together, we will find the answers!
My Approach
We all come from a family. By using family systems theory, I help you identify how your family-of-origin has shaped your experience of yourself as an individual, as well as expectations for many of your life experiences. I incorporate Jungian psychology, Somatic Experiencing, the Enneagram, and Psychological Astrology (for those who are interested) as various tools to help you grow deeper in your self-awareness.
Both individuals and couples benefit from my work, as being in a relationship helps bring up patterns & unconscious dimensions within yourself that you likely wouldn’t otherwise be forced to address. Interestingly, you often choose partners who serve as the perfect mirror to help you see things previously unconscious to you. The greater your self-knowledge, the more freedom you have to live an authentic life!

Testimonials
We are so grateful for Andrea’s guidance in our marriage. Her therapeutic approach, which blends her doctorate education with Jungian psychological astrology, has been a game-changer for us. We appreciate the benefits of therapy and visited several couples therapists over the years. This is the first time we leave each session feeling seen, heard, and like we made meaningful progress. Her unique method has shed light on our relationship dynamics and personal growth in profound ways. Through her expertise, we’ve gained valuable insights and practical strategies to address challenges and deepened our connection. Andrea’s expertise has enriched our lives. We’re grateful for her wisdom and support!
When I came to Andrea I was in the middle of a major transition period in my life. The transition was causing me stress, uncertainty, and ultimately numerous mental health issues. During our initial sessions Andrea made me feel extremely comfortable sharing my struggles as well as helped me to understand the type of person that I am and how I react to situations in my life through science-based personality tests. These tests and our in-depth discussions provided me with clarity as well as a framework for our future conversations. Andrea remembered everything about our conversations, even if they were months apart. Her insights, in-depth psychological knowledge, and compassion for me truly was a critical part of my growth and personal journey during this challenging time.

About Dr. Andrea Stover, LMFT
As a lifelong seeker with a Midwestern upbringing, much of my life has been a quest to get to the heart of the matter. I have always identified as being a Romantic and believe there are many reasons behind our soul’s yearning to love & be loved. Romantics often see the beauty and interconnectedness of things, whether that be in people, relationships, or life experiences. I believe in the healing power of love and strive to help others feel seen for who they are!
My personal journey has led to me moving from coast to coast across the U.S., only now to settle back into the Heartland. I love getting to know people and exploring different perspectives on life, and each move I’ve made has taught me a number of invaluable lessons. My own soul lights up when I am learning something new, engaging in meaningful conversations with people, and connecting with my Higher Self in the quiet stillness of meditation. I also love reading various transpersonal scholars, including Carl Jung, Liz Greene, and Paramahansa Yogananda.
A New Level of Love
What is love? Love is such a ubiquitous term, and I have found it means different things to different people. It felt important to me to help clarify what people mean when they say they “love” someone. As a result, I developed an original model called Levels of Love which helps identify where each person is in their own personal development and how this corresponds to the type of love they are seeking with a partner. For example, one person may primarily be looking for a partner to provide a certain lifestyle for them, while another person could be looking for a partnership that has the power to change the world for the better.
It is important to know who we are, where we stand, and what we’re looking for when it comes to our relationships. Life is a never-ending journey of self-discovery, and relationships provide an amazing opportunity for personal growth. Sadly, there are few healthy models of what a loving partnership looks like developmentally through time. Through my original model Levels of Love, I help to identify where you are at and where to help you grow next. Our relationships hold much more than meets the eye, and Levels of Love provides a map of where to begin the journey to higher love!
